A Place to Worship
At Open Bible all of our services are traditional and conservative. We seek to honor the Lord in our music, services, and fellowship. We hold the Bible as written in the King James Version to be the perfect Word of God. We seek to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in our services and to respond as He desires.
A Place to Grow
We strive to grow closer to God and to our fellow Christians through Bible studies, Sunday school classes, fellowship activities, service activities, and worship services. We believe that as Christians we need to put our emphasis on spiritual growth as well as developing Biblical relationships with other Christians. In 2016, the pastor is preaching through the book of Philippians in the morning service and many members are memorizing 2 verses a week. By the end of the year we will have memorized the entire book. We need to be constantly challenged to grow!
A Place to Serve
Influencing others to live for Christ brings joy beyond compare. At Open Bible we have many areas of service including: Sunday School, Junior Church and Kings Kids. We also have weekly, door-to-door evangelism times to spread the Word of God to a lost and dying world.
Our vision at Open Bible is to offer a family oriented atmosphere to present God’s truth in relevant lessons. We work to reach out to the community and spread the Word of God to those around us. Open Bible has a warm, friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome. We hope you’ll stop by one Sunday in the near future to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, to have some good fellowship and to hear a message that will bless and edify your life.
What About My Children?
At every service there are safe, clean, and well staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For children four years old through fifth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. Our King’s kids program on Wednesday evenings includes Bible memory, games, character building messages and activities designed to prepare boys and girls to be wise and godly young men and women.
What About My Teens
We have an exciting Youth Group. Open Bible offers exciting opportunities for teens, and most importantly, a place to grow spiritually and become a generation ready and willing to make a difference for Christ. Many of our teens are involved in ministry and model young men and women.
How Should I Dress?
There is not a dress code at Open Bible for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Open Bible.
Am I Expected To Participate in the Offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Open Bible Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
